Machaerus published in Hungarian
Győző Vörös's Hungarian language book entitled Machaerus has been published by the Publishing House of HAA. The book is about the Hungarian excavations in the Holy Land over the past decade, presenting the excavations of Machaerus Castle in Jordan. At the centre of HAA arheologist researcher Győző Vörös presented his book on 23 August 2021 in the company of theological professor Mihály Kránitz and Gergely Tamás Kucsera, Secretary General of HAA.
Sculptor Róbert Csíkszentmihályi passed away
Sculptor Róbert Csíkszentmihályi passed away on 26 August in Szentendre aged 81. He was an Artist of the Nation and a regular member of HAA, a versatile sculptor, working in all fields of sculpture. HAA, the Ministry of Human Resources and the city of Szentendre regards his passing as losing one of its own.

One of the greatest Hungarian conductors of our age, Ádám Medveczky turned 80 on 15 July. He has been a regular member of HAA since 2012.
Gulyas: Key cultural institutions to receive increased funding
Central support to the National Cultural Council's 17 institutions of strategic importance will increase by an annual 13.5 billion forints (EUR 37.4m) this year and by a further 17 billion forints in 2022, the prime minister's chief of staff said on Monday.
