Exhibition of HAA in Passau

A unique and large-scale fine art exhibition of HAA opened on 5 July with the title Verstrichene Zeit – Elapsing Time at the Museum of Modern Arts in Passau (Museum Moderner Kunst), can be seen until 29 September. The display is in connection with the Hungarian memorial year of the political and economic change 30 years ago, i.e. the end of the Communist era.

Passion of Csíksomlyó

The Publishing House of HAA launched its new book on the theatrical play entitled Passion of Csíksomlyó directed by Attila Vidnyánszky, the director of the National Theatre in Budapest. At the book launch Attila Vidnyánszky said that this performance at its summer premiere outdoors in Transylvania on 18 August 2018 was one of his most elevating experiences ever.

The exhibition at Műcsarnok (Kunsthalle), the institution of HAA is displaying a cross-section of the oeuvre of Kossuth State Award winning painter Péter Földi and can be seen from 30 November 2018 until 20 January 2019.

Exhibition of János Balázs

A unique exhibition opened on 12 January 2019 at Műcsarnok, Kunsthalle, the intitution of HAA from the paintings of János Balázs (1905-1977), a Hungarian artist and poet of gypsy origin and can be seen until 10 February 2019.

Exhibition of the Lelkes family at Vigadó

The extraordinary exhibition of the Lelkes family consisting of six generations of artists opened on 29 November 2018 and can be seen until 27 January 2019 at the centre of HAA, the Vigadó. From the seven generations, there are members of the Lelkes Family who chose to specialise in photography or in industrial design and have become renowned in those fields. Family members showcasing their works also include an interior designer, a sculptor, a layout designer and a book designer.
