The memorial exhibition of Sándor Badacsonyi
The memorial exhibition presenting the works of graphic artist and painter Sándor Badacsonyi (1949–2016) and entitled Gulliver in the Garden is offering a selection of the artist's oeuvre, which abounds in works made with a wide variety of different techniques. The curator of the display is fine artist Péter Stefanovits, the chair of the Section of Fine Arts of HAA and the exhibition was opened by art historian Lajos Lóska on 6 February 2019. The exhibition can be seen until 21 April 2019.
New national cultural venue in Hungary!
A new cultural location opened its gates on February 15th in Budapest: the new building of the National Dance Theatre which is located in Millenáris Park. Equipped with the most modern theatre equipment and containing interesting architectural elements, the building awaits those with a love for dance with two auditoriums and two studios as well as several rehearsal rooms to help professional dancers practice.
Lifework exhibition of Sándor Dévényi
At Vigadó Gallery the lifework exhibition of the 70-year-old architect, Artist of the Nation and regular member of HAA, Sándor Dévényi opened on 1 February 2019 and can be seen until 24 March 2019.
