Budapest Spring Festival with MMA
Between 8 and 24 April the 36th Budapest Spring Festival is awaiting visitors with a rich program that includes many of the arts, with events in classical music, opera, jazz and pop, world music, dance, theatre and the visual arts. With the best Hungarian performers and real world stars, the Budapest Spring Festival is a special occasion, presenting Hungarian and world premieres of musical and theatrical productions and co-productions with partner institutions. From the part of MMA several of its members are going to participate in the program: Sándor Szokolay, László Dubrovay, Mihály Sipos, Kristóf Baráti, Andrea Rost, Ádám Medveczky, Kálmán Záborszky are going to perform.

Prof. Felix Unger, the President of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (ASEA) accompanied by sculptor István Madarassy, member of ASEA visited György Fekete, the President of Hungarian Academy of Arts on 21 March 2016.
Members of MMA at Müpa
In 2016/17 the artist of the season at Müpa (Palace of Arts, Budapest) is outstanding violinist Kristóf Baráti, corresponding member of MMA and the ensemble of the season is the internationally acclaimed Szeged Contemporary Ballet whose artistic director and choreographer, Tamás Juronics is also a corresponding member of MMA.
Successful Bulgarian concerts
There were eight full house joint concerts with outstanding Hungarian and Bulgarian folk musicians in eight Bulgarian cities. The Danube Brotherhood Tour lasted form 9 March until 16 March. One of the main supporters of the the series of concerts was MMA.
