First issue of MMA's quarterly published

The first number of MMA's quarterly of art theory, Magyar Művészet (Hungarian Art) was published on 6 December. The next issue is due in March 2014.
A Magyar Művészet címlapjaA periodical with the same title was a significant fine art and cultural journal during the period between the two world wars.
Just as MMA unifies all the branches of art, the quarterly represents them all as well. It is a forum for the complex whole of the Hungarian artistic field. As for the genre of its published studies in the various thematic sections, its preference is for essays. One of the main aims is to help revive the rich tradition of Hungarian essay-writing. The first issue revolves around the questions of paradigms and paradigm shifts.
The chief editor is Dr Ferenc Kulin literary historian, critic, editor, playwright, journalist, university professor, politician and the chief co-editor is Dr Tamás Gergely Kucsera, secretary general of MMA. The editorial committee consists of the chairs of the sections of MMA.
