In the Section of Art Theory the experts of all the branches (architecture, film and photo art, applied and design art, literature, fine art, folk art, theatre art, music) of the Hungarian Academy of Arts are present, and this give us a great opportunity to make connections between these differents branches – thus reinforcing the all-art role of the Academy – and to show the basic principles common to them all. In commitment to high art and scientific credibility and in a consistent effort to accomplish a unity of artistic and scientific approaches we would like to work in harmony with the different sections of the Academy representing creative and performing artists. — Dr Emőke Solymosi-Tari
