The Hungarian Academy of Art is presenting itself with a grand-scale exhibition in Beijing at the Today Art Museum. The display, which consists of works of fine, applied, design and folk arts is lasting from 14 May until 10 June 2018. A year ago we received the painting and calligraphy exhibition of our brother institution, the Chinese National Academy of (CNAA) at Vigadó, the centre of HAA. Fulfilling the invitation of the Chinese partner, the Hungarian art scene can be seen in the well-known contemporary exhibition venure of the capital, and the exhibition of HAA is a selection of major works of recent years.

Hand / Craft / ǀ Art Folk Art ǀ National Salon's 2018

The National Salon's 2018 exhibition Hand / Craft / Art organised by Műcsarnok in conjunction with the Hungarian Academy of Arts presents a representative selection of works by outstanding masters of contemporary Hungarian folk handicrafts from the past ten to fifteen years, showcasing the wealth of genres, techniques and creative ideas that are signature features of the Hungarian handicraft movement.

Exhibition of Ferenc Salamin

Architect and corresponding member of HAA Ferenc Salamin is one of the outstanding exponents of Hungarian architecture living today. His large-scale exhibition entitled Buildings, Colleagues and Students at Vigadó Gallery can be seen from 7 April until 15 May 2018.

Lifework exhibition of Viola Berki

The oeuvre of painter and graphic artist Viola Berki (1932-2001) is one of the most unique and most mythical legacies of 20th century Hungarian art history. The lifework exhibition of the posthumous honorary member of HAA has been organized by the Thorma János Museum and can be seen from 28 March until 20 May at Vigadó, the centre of HAA.

Gardens In Towns

A unique exhibition can be seen at the Gallery of Vigadó, the centre of HAA with the title Gardens In Towns showing the works of a great number of artists representing various branches of art, but all of them members of the Gödöllő Applied Arts Workhsop (GIM). Gödöllő is a town situated in Pest county 30 km northeast of Budapest. Exhibition can be seen until 10 June.
